This exhibition explores our understanding of the feminine and today's new symbols of womanhood by examining the six archetypical female forms found in both myth and fable: "Mother Earth", "Sage", "Enchantress", "Explorer", "Heroine" and "Thespian". It gathers works from designers and artists who have broken the boundaries of fashion, presenting them in the form of objects, photographs and videos. The exhibition has toured internationally, and is now housed at a distinctive, dramatic museum designed by Frank O. Gehry. "A-POC Queen" is now included in the "Mother Earth" section.
