This exhibition originated in the capital of Lithuania and focuses upon an exploration of factors that have combined to shape the world and people of Lithuania in the first decade of its independence from the USSR.
The official uniform of the Lithuanian team at the Barcelona Olympics was designed by Issey Miyake. It was the first time in 64 years that Lithuania had participated in the Olympics as an independent state. Within the exhibition is a uniform that was worn by one of the Lithuanian athletes with all of its accessories (cap, shoes and sox) from the Issey Miyake archives.
