This exhibition highlighted the evolution of advanced knitting techniques and seeking new ways of expression through knitting. This was a comprehensive event, and software that linked knitting machines with the designers’ skills was also displayed alongside works from designers who have succeeded in unlocking new potential from knitting machines. Issey Miyake works included “A-POC Cotton Baguette” (2000), the very core of the “A-POC” series, in conjunction with animation by Pascal Roulin.
