For this exhibition, 25 members of the Japan Design Committee brought together the designs they respected the most, thus using exhibits and text as a vehicle for communicating joy and wonder. Architect Atsushi Kitagawara chose Miyake’s “Rhythm Pleats” (1989), while graphic designer Taku Satoh chose “A-POC Cotton Baguette” (2000), and the foundation loaned and exhibited these items.
